Bass and Guitar Tutor - Sheffield

Hi, I’m Sam – a music teacher based in Sheffield teaching Bass Guitar, Guitar and Music Theory. Alongside teaching I have performed as a working musician both in the UK and abroad for over 10 years in Theatre, Wedding and Cruise Ship bands.

My musical background is varied and I have both performed and taught a broad range of musical styles including – rock, pop, blues, reggae, disco and motown.

Every student has different goals and a way of learning that best suits them and I aim to adapt each lesson to the needs of each individual student. Whether you want to learn the basics, work towards grades, learn to improvise, or brush up on your music theory; I can help you work towards achieving your goals.

Music Theory Tuition

Music Theory is an invaluable skill for all musicians from beginners to pros. Music Theory not only allows us to read and understand music, it also helps us to improvise and aids in composition. Whether you’re looking to improve your compostion skills, ability to improvise, or you want help working towards grade/GCSE/A Level Exams; Music Theory tuition can help.

Music Theory tuition can be offered as a standalone lesson or included as part of your guitar/bass lessons.
