Do I need my own Instrument for my first lesson?
- For in person lessons I can lend you an instrument to use for the duration of the lesson. For online lessons you will need your own instrument, if you’re not sure which instrument is best for you and would like advice before making a purchase; I am more than happy to talk you through the options and provide advice.
Where do in person lessons take place?
- In person lessons take place at my home studio in Sheffield S20, not far from Crystal Peaks Shopping centre.
What equipment do I need for online lessons?
For online lessons you’ll need –
- A camera and microphone equipped PC/Mac or mobile device.
- A Guitar/Bass/Acoustic Guitar
- An Amplifier for Electric Guitar and Bass Guitar (Not Required for Acoustic Guitar)
- A stable internet connection
- Microsoft Teams
What's your cancellation policy?
- Any lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours notice can be rescheduled or refunded depending on your preference. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of your booked slot will still be charged.
Do I need to be present during my childs lesson?
- For children aged 18 and under I do request that a parent/guardian is present for the duration of the lesson.
- For online lessons I do request that a parent is present at the beginning and end of the session to confirm that the child is not left unaccompanied.
How do I access teaching material and exercises between lessons?
- All students receive access to a dropbox folder containing material covered during the lesson to practice at home.
Can I see proof of your DBS check?
- A copy of my DBS check can be provided upon request.
